Yerba Maté

 

Maté is a tea consumed mainly in Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and southern Brazil, and can be used like any other tea.

 

It is brewed from the dried leaves and stemlets of the perennial tree Ilex paraguarensis , or "Yerba Maté ".
